Customizing Your Home

Make it yours

One of the biggest benefits of building a new home is that you can design and customize your home to a style you love and that accommodates your family’s needs. With a StoneMill home you have the control to personalize the layout and selections in a clear and simple way, with StoneMill here to help every step.

Our homes models are crafted for livability and style; and with tons of options with each plan so you can own a home you can be proud of forever.

1.

Personalized custom

With our Personalized Custom Home program you have the Freedom Finance option where you do not need the full 20% down financing as you would with a typical home purchase. Learn more about Freedom Finance on the Financing page.

The Personalized Custom Home program is set up much like ordering a custom GMC Sierra online. Our customers love having the control to personalize their home exactly how they want it in a clear and simple display with the price and details of each option. Most clients like to meet with our design team to go through the personalization program, and some like to work through it on their own; either way we are here to help and answer any questions you may have.

Here’s the way that it works:

  1. Choose your building site

  2. Choose a StoneMill home model

  3. Select all your layout upgrades

  4. Choose your exterior style and theme

  5. Choose your designer interior theme

2.

Complete custom

Sometimes the Personalized Custom options we offer just don’t fill the bill. Our Complete Custom program offers clients a customization range from making a few changes to one of our plans, to starting from scratch with their own plan. Our design team loves bringing a client’s dreams, ideas, and styles to life in a buildable home plan. Bring in your Pinterest boards, home ideas you like, or anything that you draw inspiration from to help with our design process.

Because the plans will be structurally altered, we’ll need to get roof and floor systems engineered for permitting and construction.
